Neurodiverse West Wales (CANDO) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

We recognise our responsibility to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all individuals who engage with our services.

We are committed to:


  • Taking all safeguarding concerns seriously
     
  • Responding promptly and appropriately to disclosures
     
  • Working in line with relevant Welsh safeguarding guidance
     
  • Promoting safe practice across all activities and events
     
  • Maintaining appropriate boundaries within peer support settings
     

Where concerns arise, we will follow appropriate safeguarding procedures and, where necessary, refer to relevant statutory services.
